Disadvantages of assigning a locker to every staff member

If the lockers are placed at a considerable distance then the employees could be wasting their time in going to and fro for taking their things and putting it back. This encourages wastage of time and energy as the staff members would get exhausted after a few trips to and from the locker room.

Sometimes it might also create a sense of insecurity in their minds. When they keep their valuable possessions in the locker they have their mind all working as to whether their belongings are safe or not? Will it be stolen? In some companies, the management firmly believes in assigning a locker to its staff members as one of the moral responsibilities.
